An Organic Greenhouse On Wheels

Published by Biobizz World Wide Organics at 08/02/2018

Biobizz initiated a new project called The Greenhouse on Wheels. Biobizz will be driving across different countries and meet you, growers. This unique greenhouse, on wheels, will assist and help you to make some organic magic. But what is the Greenhouse on Wheels project?

So, you decided to take the organic stairway to heaven, but where to start? It is totally understandable you don’t know where to begin when you enter your local gardening center or -shop. The differences between organics and minerals, a watering plan per crop and the best combination of products to use in the proper growth cycle. At this point you might think: “wait, growth cycle and watering plan?”. Yes indeed, there is a lot to learn for a beginning grower.

With the purpose of getting you started – or assist you in helping others to make some organic magic happen – Biobizz initiated The Greenhouse on Wheels. Ok, we know the future will bring self-driving vehicles and nowadays you can get everything at your door step in a heartbeat, but did you actually just read a “Greenhouse on Wheels”? Yes, you totally did!

Self-sustainable communities

The increase of local ecological awareness is top of mind. We are becoming more and more self-sustainable and with this, we are acting local and thinking global at the same time. Working in a community garden or growing your own vegetables; these are small projects to improve the environment, but they also create a change within your own mindset. Knowing where your food comes from or providing yourself with organically grown medicine are just two of the plus sides of home growing. An organic greenhouse, green balcony or just a corner in your backyard; no space too small or -big to go fully natural!

The highway to organic growing

One of the best places to learn about organic growing would be in an environment where crops feel at home. Biobizz creates nature in their very own greenhouses to produce, test and improve organic fertilizers. They wanted to share this experience with clients and all who might be interested in the best way to set up their own vegetable garden or organic greenhouse. “To share knowledge in a way people will never forget” was the idea that led to the birth of the Greenhouse on Wheels, a.k.a. GOW.

The GOW is like a candy store for organic lovers: with Biobizz drivers leaving no question unanswered, while handing out the latest goodies that even include a special starter kit! If you are lucky you might even find yourself playing an awesome quiz on a huge board that can fit a small driveway. For community-projects there is also a special section called “green projects”. Money is donated for every kilometer the GOW has driven, so if you are rocking some local green activities it is definitely worth it to enroll in www.greenhouseonwheels.net.

Ok, but where does this green 4-wheeled wonder make its stops? It drives for around 2 years across Europe, depending on the season per region. The routes are updated when one occurs on the webpage mentioned above, but the social channels of GOW also give you an insight in what is happening where and when. Check out the Facebook page of Biobizz or follow @BiobizzGOW on Instagram or Twitter. Join the ride people!
